The LRB is proud to announce that Lucas Moomaw(drummer) will be joining the band for all of the 2009 shows. New pictures will be added to the site soon. The LRB is now under new management by Black Paw Entertainment.
Bluegrass!!?? We're not sure that Bill Monroe would approve, but that is how this all started. The Lost Ridge Band has been rockin' Boone, NC for 7 years! It all began with the good ole bluegrass tunes of yesterday and it has slowly evolved into Hard Drivin, Eclectic, Progressive Bluegrass with a Beat! Lost Ridge Has shared the stage with many great musicians including but not limited to- Doc Watson, Tony Reece (National Dobro Champion 2005), John Skehan of Railroad Earth, Buddy Cage(New Riders of the Purple Sage), and more... Although LRB has been together for awhile, they are just beginning to sink into the sound that they were searching for. Lost Ridge Is: Pete Washburn - Banjo, Vocals Phil Washburn - Guitar, Vocals Elijah Davenport- Upright Bass, Vocals Shane Crawford- Mandolin, Vocals Lucas Moomaw- Dums and Stewart Owens- Fiddle
